Dawn Hilton-Williams
Co-Founding Executive Director
Dubbed the Vegucator, Dawn Hilton-Williams is a clinically-endorsed wellness equity activist. Founder of Herban Eats, LLC and Co-Founding Executive Director of Power is Giving, Inc., Dawn’s committed to dismantling systemic health & access inequities for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) through evidence-based education and adherence to a 100% whole food, plant-based (WFPB) lifestyle. With a BA in Political Science from Virginia State University, a WFPB nutrition certification from eCornell, and over three decades of culinary experience, Dawn shares culturally resonant, lifestyle solutions that aid in the the prevention & arrest of our top chronic diseases. Awarded $10k by Beyoncé's BeyGOOD Foundation, Dawn is also is a freelance columnist and author of popular cookbook "Flava My Plate."

Having formerly worked in municipal government and higher education for 15 years, Dawn's also an experienced, grant writer, program monitor, presenter and administrator.
Nadia Hilton Adams
Co-Founder & Program Leader
A Charlotte, NC native, Nadia is the Co-Founder of Power is Giving and leads the EDD Fit & Fuel Tennis Program. A former NCAA Division 1 tennis player at North Carolina A&T State University, Nadia helped lead the lady Aggies to two back to back appearances in the MEAC conference championships, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and was a four-time regional all-conference and MVP title holder at Southside High School in Greenville, SC.

Currently working as a corporate communications manager and freelance tennis coach, Nadia's worked in Miami, FL as a Nike Tennis Camp Instructor, and remains dedicated to the vision and mission of Power is Giving. Nadia has also been featured in various media outlets, including USA Today, Tennis Channel and numerous news affiliates and is passionate about animal welfare and community equity.

With nearly two decades experience fostering a welcoming and diverse workplaces, Jil is a prominent, bilingual leader well-versed in adapting DEI best practices into readily consumable resources and programs in line with business needs. Jil is also a former Urban League and YWCA CEO, Mayor Pro Tem and is longtime civic and community leader.
MILTON MILLS, MD

An Oakland, CA native, with over four decades in his field of expertise, Dr. Milton Mills is a board certified physician practicing in the Washington DC metro area.

Widely known for appearances in a number of popular vegan documentaries, i.e., What The Health, A graduate of Stanford medical school and Georgetown, Dr. Mills has practiced a vegan lifestyle for more than three decades and is a distinguished, world renowned speaker/presenter and educator.
PHILIPPE ZAMOR, MD

With more than two decades experience in the field of medicine, Philippe Zamor, MD is a Charlotte, NC based, triple board certified Gastroenterologist, Hepatolgist and Internal Medicine and is a clinical associate professor at Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
A graduate of University of Virginia and Boston University, Dr. Zamor is a longtime whole food, plant-based vegan and a health equity and community justice and equity activist.

Ms. Fields is a practicing Attorney in New York City with extensive litigation and corporate law experience. A board member at Black Farmers United a Cannabis Attorney Fields is a published in numerous periodicals, serves as regulatory and compliance for S.E.E.D-Sustainability and Educational Development, and serves as Special Advisor to The Mary Jane Consulting Group.

Longtime arts and community activist, Aisha is a former political strategist, campaign manager and is slated as District 107's next duly appointed North Carolina State House Representative.

Chi town native, Executive Chef Artina is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University, Executive Chef at Spartanburg Regional Hospital, Spartanburg, SC and 100% vegan.

Chef Artina is also founder of Pink Salt Chef, LLC and author of alkaline vegan cookbook.
